There has been a lot of things going on in my life lately, and through it all, God has continued to reveal himself to me and how much He truly does love me.
Last week, I had some things that had happened that really got me down. I was discouraged and really just not having the best week. On top of everything, I had a doctor's appointment Thursday that I really was not looking forward to.
However, I woke up Thursday and really was able to see God's love for me through His people. First, I received a note from my mom telling me how much she loved me and was thinking of me even though she couldn't be there for me.
After receiving that, I got a text message from a good friend saying that he has been praying for me lately and for me to know that he is there for me no matter what. Then, if that wasn't enough, I got on facebook and had a message from someone very close to me with scripture to encourage me before my appointment.
After all of this, I couldn't help but smile and just know that everything was going to be ok. God has blessed me with so many people who care about me and will encourage me when I need it the most. I am so loved and it is because we all love the same God. The God of comfort, the God of peace, the God of encouragement.
Take the time to love on someone today. You might not know what is going on in their lives, but know that words of love always mean so much to people.
And, please, be praying for me. I go back to the doctor next week, and I know that God has something great in store for me. Just pray that I really accept His plan, even if it goes against mine =)
