Ephesians 4:32

Encouragement has been on my mind this week. I just can't seem to get the idea of encouragement out of my mind. So, this post is solely dedicated to encouragement =)

I have never turned away encouragement from someone. In fact, I rather enjoy it. And I know that a simple kind word can really make someones day. When thinking of kindness, Ephesians 4:32 comes to mind:

"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."

I especially love the beginning of that verse. Be kind and compassionate. It is that simple.


So, here it goes: I am going to be kind and compassionate. I want you each to know how much you mean to me. I couldn't possibly name all the ways you have each influenced my life, but I want to encourage you each by showing you just how much you have influenced me =)

1. You mean the world to me. I love that you have never been short of something kind to say to me. I love you so much!
2. You always bring a smile to my face. Thank you for always being there for me, no matter what mood I am in.
3. I am amazed by you each and every day. You constantly challenge me to be a better person and are always loving and kind and are always a joy to be around.
4. You make me smile =) simple as that. I am always looking forward to my time with you.
5. You are stunning. Inside and out. I have never known a more beautiful person. Thank you for showing me how to love and how to be a better follower of Christ.
6. Have I ever told you that you're my hero? Seriously, you are. I love that you constantly challenge me, but you are always loving and welcoming whenever I need a soft place to land.
7. In my entire life, I have never met someone as sweet as you. You are never short of something kind to say and I love that you can always brighten my day.
8. I love hearing you sing. You sing with joy and I am always captivated by your sweet voice and your kind spirit.
9. You are a beautiful woman of God and I love hearing your thoughts. I am always inspired by you.
10. In everything, I know that I can count on you. And, seriously, that means the world to me =)
11. I love seeing who you are becoming. I look up to you and am so blessed to have you in my life. I am constantly encouraged by you and your faith. I hope to become half the woman you are someday.
12. I. Love. You. You are my rock, my comfort, my inspiration, my joy. No matter what life throws at you, you are a strong tower for Christ, and your faith amazes me. I will never stop looking up to you.
13. Our conversations always make me smile. Thank you for your kindness and honesty with me.
14. You have such beautiful eyes. I love when I see you and your eyes light up your face!
15. Never doubt how wonderful you are. I always feel so much better after being with you. Thank you for always being a light for me =)


The list goes on, but I just wanted to give you a glimpse of how far being nice to someone can really go. No, I didn't put names, but all of them are true. Encouragement can mean the world to someone. It means the world to me anyways.

Take the time to think of those who have encouraged you, and know that it is as simple as being kind and compassionate.
