Music

Music. Such a beautiful thing that God has given to us.

Most of the time when people ask the ways that God speaks to you, the most common responses are through his people, through his word and through prayer. Well, I propose that another huge way is through music.

I have been touched so many times through music and the words that we sing in praise to our Father. It amazes me how I can feel the Lord stirring in me when I just take the time to reflect on the words of the songs.

Think about it this way. The entire book of Psalms were written as songs to God. Through moments of pain and moments of praise, these were written to bring glory to God. Music is important. It always has been.

I have often times found myself having lyrics run through my mind, and I think that this is one of the many powerful ways that God really does speak to me.

Listen to the words. Let them stir in you. After all, God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him.
