Lauren is one of the most incredible people you will ever meet! I have been so blessed to have her in my life.
We met last year at Baylor (both as freshman) at common grounds. We realized that we were both education majors and that's where the friendship started. One of the first nights we ever hung out after that, was when we decided to just throw the football around in the SoRo Field. And, the rest is history...we have been close friends ever since!
Lauren is my encourager and accountability partner, as well as my partner in crime. When we are together, there is never a shortage of laughter. I know that I can talk to her about anything and I am so blessed to have her in my life.
This week (until August 25) Lauren is on a mission trip to Africa. She is working with a team of doctors and volunteers and basically ministering through the clinical work they are doing. Again, how blessed am I to have a best friend that is serving our Lord in magnificent ways!
This post is just because I am really missing my Lo! I haven't seen her since I moved out of the dorms in May, and not being able to see her and only talk to her occasionally has been hard. I cannot wait for next semester and to see how God continues to grow our friendship. I knew when I decided to go to Baylor that I would meet some incredible people, but I have been completely amazed at the people I know and now call my best friends. God is so faithful! I can see that not only in what He is doing in my life, but who is in my life. I am so so blessed!
