In A Year....

So much can change in only one year! Its crazy to think that almost a year ago I was getting ready to head to Baylor. I found these old pictures today and they just made me think how much I have grown and changed this past year. There are so many things that I have learned and its crazy to think that if I have learned all this in only one year, what's in store for the years to come?? Here are just a few things this past year has taught me:

1. Family is always a phone call away and always there...no matter what
2. A friend will love you through it all
3. Grades in college are not near as important as in high school (only passing matters lol)
4. Midnight is early for a college student
5. Taking laundry home every weekend you come home is not abnormal
6. God can use you where you and however you are...you just have to accept the challenge sometime
7. Running through fountains on campus will cause you to freeze on your way back to your room.
8. It is hard to remember who you are sometimes, so its important to remain close to those who have the same values as you
9. Church is more than just a Sunday thing...its those people who encourage and support you every day
10. Middle schoolers are extremely smart and when you challenge them, they will in turn challenge you


So many wonderful things have happened this year. Even though I have had to learn alot and grow alot this past year, God is faithful. He has remained faithful this past year by guiding me and strengthening me for whatever is thrown my way. I am so thankful that I have met those people here at Baylor who will encourage me and love me and keep me accountable. I am so blessed to have the family I do. I can't wait to see what is in store these next few years =)
