The Power of Prayer

I love prayer. I love the intimate time to communicate with God those things that are on your heart, and the time to really listen to Him.

I love the power of prayer. I love that when you voice your concerns, joys, trials, and triumphs, that there is power and that this power is revealed through Jesus.

I have seen the power of prayer in my own life, and in the lives of those around me. I have seen God work through the prayer of his people.

It says in James 5: 16 "Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results."

The earnest prayer-the prayer with a purpose, with serious intention, that prayer has purpose.

And God is glorified through prayer.

So, having said my thoughts on prayer, I have a request.

We recently have been informed from a man who we help that he is going through a fire. Without too much detail, this man is risking everything, even his life, so that the Glory of God be revealed. I am amazed at the faith of this man and know that through this situation, God will be glorified. However, he and his family could still use prayer warriors who are fighting for him right now. His name is Charlie.

God knows who Charlie is. Please just when you think about it this week, voice a prayer for Charlie and that he be protected and God be glorified through him.

Also, I want to be a prayer warrior for you reading this. Whether I know you or not, I want to pray for you and whatever you might need. There is power in prayer. I believe that. James tells us that.

So, if there is something on your heart and you would like for me to pray for you, please comment below or email me (hanahblanton25@gmail.com) and know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Never doubt what God can do through you and through prayer.
