Romans 12:12

"Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer"

I found this verse the other day and after reading it, it has been constantly on my mind. I have found so much encouragement in these simple words.

Rejoice in Hope: I have a future, I have reassurance through Jesus Christ, I have a family that loves and encourages me to be the best person and witness for Christ I can be.

Be Patient in Tribulation: I have difficulty understanding how the pains of today play into the bigger picture for my good. But Christ has given me a spirit not of timidity, but of love, self control, and discipline...I just have to remain patient in His plan and know that good is in store!

Be Constant in Prayer-I need to remain constantly focused on Christ, whether at work of just relaxing with friends. By allowing Him to be the center of my life and the focus of my daily actions, my attitude will be the same that Christ Jesus had, and my witness will be strengthened to where no one can rebuke what I say.

This verse is so helpful to me and I hope that it has provided some encouragement to you. Rejoice in the hope you have and be patient in the trials, because by remaining in constant prayer, your life will reflect Christ, and you will be blessed beyond measure.
