I am told sometimes that you are known by the company you keep. In the case of these two wonderful women of God, I hope that is true. I hope that people see me with these amazing girls and just know that I love my Lord and Savior. This year has had its ups and downs but these girls have definitely been my rock and have helped in so many ways.
Julie (on the left) is my DNA twin. We are alike in basically every way possible. She is an education major as well and that is how we started off our friendship. She is encouraging, sarcastic, loving, and just a joy to be around. I have enjoyed our late night conversations and discussions over our thoughts and cannot think of words do describe how wonderful she has been.
Lauren (or Lo) is my Leah here at Baylor. She is incredible and inspiring in so many ways. She is full of life and always happy. She challenges me to be a better person and a better witness. I have cried on her shoulder and have bounced ideas off of her. She is always there to offer wisdom and comfort when needed. She is absolutely incredible in every way and I love her dearly.
I stressed about the friends I would have here at Baylor and I am so blessed at how faithful God is in providing that encouraging circle of friends. These are just two examples of God's love and faithfulness in my life and I could go on and on. Knowing He is in even the little things is so encouraging and I know that next year when I come back to Baylor, I have a wonderful group of friends waiting to pick up where we left off.
