Christmas on 5th at Baylor

Christmas on 5th is a Baylor tradition. The first Thursday of every December, we gather to hear carols sung by different foreign language groups, visit Santa and the petting zoo, ride a horse drawn carriage, ice skate, listen to free concerts and see the lighting of the Christmas tree.

Sadly, last year I didn't participate in half the things because of the intense cold weather. However, this year I stayed and spent the evening with some of my closest friends.

It definitely made the week great and really made me enjoy this time of the year, regardless of the stress that comes along with finals and end of the year class work.
