My little Leah =)

This past week, Leah has been at TBAS in Houston. She has done TBAS for the past four years and has always looked forward to this. I was able to go on Sunday and pick her up with my mom. It was a wonderful day! I not only got to spend the whole day with my mom and just visit, but I also had the opportunity to listen to the band and choir. It really is an impressive thing to listen to one of these concerts. The kids (high school aged) are from all across the state of Texas-and they share the same passion: to serve our Lord and savior by using the gifts he has given them.

I will definitely miss going to these concerts. I began to cry when they announced the seniors and my beautiful baby sister stood up. Even now, I can't help but wipe away some tears as I realize that she is really going off to college.

Leah, you my sweet girl are so incredible. You challenge me every day to be a better person. You strive to be an example in everything you do. You, my wonderful sister, inspire me in so many ways. You will never know how large of an impact you have had on my life. I will always cherish the times we had together in high school and look forward to the many new memories we are going to make.

Never stop playing your music. God has blessed you with such talent. I will always love hearing you sing and play your instrument. You really are an incredible woman of God and I am blessed beyond words to have you in my life. I love you baby girl!

  2. I didn't realize how hard it was to see Leah grow up but it is so hard! It even gets me emotional to see Riley and Sam growing up! I love you so much and miss you like crazy! I will see you soon =)
